New Stained Glass Light Futheration.

I like doing this kind of work. When I start, I don't have much of an idea where it will end up. Suffice to say it will be hanging or standing. Then I take it from there.

Today I made the fused brass sectioning that will dived the glass and soldered it into place.

I melt the brass like this after it is cut into strips. I use 1mm brass sheeting.
Then it is finished off on a steel brush on the polishing motor.
I have started cutting the glass for this light.

The back side. I like the way the copper tubing comes out of the wood.

I stick cardboard against the inside and then trace the shape of that panel out. This gives me the parameters in which to cut my pieces of glass.
