Learning Enamel,

This is a leaf pendant that I first carved in purple wax as a master pattern, and then cast it, and then made a mould and then injected it and then cast it again and the finished it off and then enameled it. Whew!
I used Thompson opalescent green #2300, and I cut out little pieces of gold foil and put it in between the veins. It was a mission to cut out. And even more of a mission to fit them in.
I thought that the opalescent blue ( Thompson call it opalescent green but to me it is actually more blue.) would combine with the yellow of the gold and then make a green colour. And it does. And the pendant still does have an opalescent look to it.

This one was done with Thompson Peacock Green # 2335
