Emptying the Shop
To say that yesterday was hectic would be somewhat of an understatement. One of the first things that went into the container was my mobile bench. Not a light thing, it took four strong packers to lift it up.
Then Anne and I checked the corresponding numbers on the manifest and packed and wrapped boxes and just, just held it together.
We slept the sleep of the dead last night.
Safely packed away in the corner.
At about four 'o clock, the container was full. Over 200 separate boxes and machines and things. All the packers were complaining that everything was so HEAVY... ha ha , that's jewellery making equipment, in't?
One empty workshop.
And one empty shopfront.
This is the seal that is given to you .
It presses into each other and then can only be removed by cutting it off.
Of course, you could just use an angle grinder and cut into the container....
One of the levers was broken, so I took the liberty of tack welding it into place.
Just making sure.
Off she goes!
Even though the truck driver managed to back into my sign and trash it.
Luckily, I don't need it anymore.
