Jewellery and Nest

IMG_5710

I made this set of earring for a Tannie.

Making earring is like a light form of root canal.

You make one and then another one.

Boring.

This ring took me six and a half hours, from melting the metal to setting the last of 50 stones, polished and klaar.

Gauge.

I have the bird finished, I have the flower finished.

Everything had been polished and gold plated.

I faceted an Amethyst and inlayed a cabochon Garnet for the eye.

The beak is titanium.

Nest stabilized and gold plated where there is brass.

A bucket load of work, but I see the end.

The flower open.

Looking inside the flower where the ring will reside.

Combi porn.

Nice.

I wish I still had my Syncro that the munts stole from me.

On the other hand, if you gotta transport a palm you gotta transport a palm.

This is quite popular around here.

They string a loooong line between two trees and then walk from one end to the other like a tightrope walker.

This dude was doing turns and pirouettes as well.

It looks frikken difficult.

You can make a gat of your self in front of the whities quick time…..
